Meet Amy Gibson, Founder & Chief Event Conductor
Amy has spent over a decade designing and delivering impactful events around the world - from global conferences, summits and awareness activations to local retreats, workshops and team days. And she’s best known in Brighton for creating the Pier2Pier Silent Disco Beach Cleans!
Across the UK, Europe, Africa, Asia and the Americas, Amy has crafted gatherings that help people connect with purpose, clarity and momentum - working with mission-led organisations to create experiences that mean something.
Today, she focuses on designing events and offsites that bring people back together in real life: purposeful, energising, joy-filled spaces that remind teams why they gather and what it feels like to truly connect.
When she’s not designing events, Amy is usually outside - running, swimming, hiking or paddleboarding, or you might find her onstage performing burlesque or drag!
Connection, joy and real human experience run through everything she does, and they’re the driving force behind Bang The Drum Events: a mission to put play, presence and togetherness at the heart of how we gather, and to make every event a little more meaningful (and a little more fun) than anyone expects!
